Monika/ when I am actually active, then it depends on my intent. If I want to experience via the real senses then I can do that, if I want to experience via imaginary senses then I do that.
Rafe/ when I am switched out, I experience the same sort of thing
We just decided on one. Since I'm not always the one talking and they don't want to have to change names any time they want to talk we went with this. The end part with the first two letters of each of our names are not set in stone though. Just something we are trying out
When my host was 12 or so, she had these two characters who were incredibly important to her. She gave them the last name "Felight" as it's a combination of the words Feline and Light. In the lore of that story, the "royal" family had the word Light in their last name to indicate it, so the Feline family became the Felight family. The story had to do with orbs of light becoming people and stuff like that, so that's why the word was important. Those two characters became sentient over the years, and were my host's first tulpas. They no longer exist anymore. We adopted Felight as a system name as sort of an homage to them, and because we liked it and it sounded good.
That's really cool and sweet and special.
Mine is just I've always liked the idea of the Grimm Reaper. Furthered along after discovering the bleach anime.
Next to yours mine now seems poorly thought out and needy. Haha
we spent a lot of time searching for some sort of word that could apply to all of us space guys and dragons, but eventually were like "oh wait why not Felight" lol
Tr- I'm fine with it. The only one who wanted anything different was Sweetie, and even then Shinigami is basically that but much more wordy I guess. We spend a lot of time play fighting with various weapons and things. It's not that it doesn't fit. It's that it feels forced. Certainly that last bit on there. Speaking of...

Better. Not perfect but better. Why he worries that Shinigami is too wordy/long and then adds all those extraneous letters on the end, I've no idea.

Guess we are going with my old handle now. Haha. Whatever. Don't want to stick us with anything that not everyone agrees with.
1. Depends on the tulpa, specifically how old they are
2. Lots of people disagree, but I think so (it would be very difficult once they have been around for awhile though)
3. You can destroy their form, but that would not kill them
Yeah, it's like a habbit, it can be easy to kick a habbit when you have just started, but after awhile it is so automatic that it can be difficult to stop
It's like if you learn to play an instrument. The more time and practice you put into the skill, the longer it would take for it to go away. If you don't put much effort in, you'll lose it more easily
Mine and myself "parted ways" for about 2 years. And they came back. After a certain amount of time or perhaps it varies from tulpa to tulpa I think it's impossible to ever truly get rid of them. They will always be there in the backround. It's hard to forget something that ingrained in a system.
We may have accidently created a second tulpa... It started as a servitor... but then wolf though it would be cool if we gave it a body/look.... and lightly thinking about it at work here and there over a few months and... well... I guess it might have been bound to happen.
But my question is, if they are already talking is it to late? ~.~"(edited)
Well. For those 4 months, Wolf never went away for more the an hour or two In total.
7:19 AM
So I'd say we know eachother well.
7:21 AM
But now I'm starting to worry how to tell the people who just learned, and are barely getting used to 'me being someone called wolf' sometimes, that I have another.... xD
They talked for an hour or two today.... just the same way Wolf did when he first talked.... nothing.... then like it unlocks and they talk a whole bunch...
Making... well, Wolf didn't have a start up process as in before talking, but we figured it out after. We did have some days soaked in thought about related stuffs, but I'd say it was managed.
